Hey, I am looking to join a band. I was classically trained at school (quite a while ago), as a soprano albeit not a very good one, those high notes were beyond me. I now sing rock, mainly with a punk edge (Green Day type stuff). However I will sing anything at all - I even do some Shania Twain stuff
Haven't done much singing in ages but would love to get together with like-minded people and have a go at putting something together again. Am happy to sing lead or backing vocals. I'm confident but not the Prima Donna type!
Just up for a laugh really and to see where it goes - BUT I am reliable and have the ability to work really hard on stuff. I don't take myself that seriously but anything I get involved with I take very seriously and am not a "flake" or just messing about with it. Hope that makes sense?
I also do some photographic modelling, photography and writing.
Oh and I am 42, that might put off some younger bands, but I am not ready for slippers and rocking chair quite yet.
